Guys, I just got my hands on a well painted Azrael of the Dark Angels for free. The cloak is painted a beige witha blue cape underneath, armor is black and the gun is black with gold for the eagle. the sowrd has a gold handle and a very cool dark metalic black for the blade. No banner.

Now I was thinking of using this to be converted into my inquisitor. Now i'm a decent painter for a Nob, but this model was painted FAR better then I ever could. I mean it's not winning any awards but it's pretty decent. I figured I could easily paint some of the armor red-make it look more inquisitorish, and mabyee an inquisitor banner. Oh also, he doesn't have a backpack.

would u guys except this in a battle, sound like a good idea? and any suggestions? also, what types of weapons you think i could cound his as?

Colors don't mean anything. You can paint your models any way you want them. As far as accepting it in battle, I personnaly don't care what a model is supposed to represent, as long as size is correct (i.e. size of the plastic base, height of model for line of sight). In tournaments, the rule is WYSIWYG. Or, what you see is what you get. As far as equipment goes, it sounds like he has a bolt pistol. The sword can be a regular C.C. weapon, a power weapon, a force weapon, or even an anointed sword. Like I said, tournaments aside, it doesn't matter what your model looks like; it's up to your enemy to call it legal. The guys I play against don't care. There's even one guy who used a LOTR Ringwraith as his Inquisitor.

Hmm, can I take the combi-plasma bolter as a one handed weapon? Or perhaps i'll just say it's a master crafted plasma pistol
