I dont know if you guys know about this but when codex apocaylpse come out there putting bane blades in store for a little while do you think they will be able to be used in witch hunters?
Baneblades are Imperial Guard Tanks, Witch Hunters have a very short list of what IG tanks can be used. So do I think we will get access to them, probably not, but then you will have to look at that new codex for sure.I dont know if you guys know about this but when codex apocaylpse come out there putting bane blades in store for a little while do you think they will be able to be used in witch hunters?
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
who cares? in the end it's an imperial tank which can usually only be feilded in friendly matches so just ask your opponent before hand and if you really want you could just feild a small guard army with whitch hunter allies
i'm gettin 2 when they are released and gonna convert them to look whitch huntery so it won't be long before "faith" and "fury" are trundling alongside "steel", "fire" and "bob" my exorcist trio and the 10 or so rhino's that go with em heh heh heh

The essence of Apocalypse seems to be 'pile it all on the table' so if you've got the model, you can use it. WH and IG ally all the time so I don't see any problem. In any case Apocalypse seems to use multiple armies, so you could have a force of IG with them alongside a WH force, something that is legal now.
I think that in apocalyse, as long as you got the model you get to use it. So if this is true you could have a land raider crusader, monolith, baneblade, 4 excorists, titan, stompa...You get the point anythings, from any army in one 'uge battle.
I will be getting one for my Witch Hunter Inquisitor Lord to ride on. I am calling it the Balance of Judgement and I am going to be using the rules for the Fortress of Arogance in the Apocalypse rulebook to represent him. Since I already have a 1500pt mechanised infantry imperial guard army and some sisters of battle mounted in rhinos to make the points up to 3000 it is going to be a pleasure to field.
Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
Just in keeping in the 'fluff' of the SoB holy trinity I'd prefer a Hellhammer variant over the Baneblade.
Aren't Super Heavy detachments more or less "free" to join any "Imerial" army? Being FW pieces up to this point, they needed an OK from your enemy anyway... I wonder how that is going to change when GW will have their own SHeavy model...
Just to let people know, with apoccoplypse, i have seen the book, and there is and alliance system, where every army has armies as allies, some they don;t ind, and some armies they hate. with allies, you can mix and match unites freely (so, yes, you can take a baneblade). i'm not sure about the don't mind armies, but i know you have to come up with a story/fluff article to mix and match units for armies you hate (eg, a guy that works at the store id doing paint or die with chaos, and has a baneblade... the reason, chaos took over half the forge worlds, so, they commanded the servitors to build the baneblade (who wouldn;t)
hope this helps
