This may sound weird but...I like the paint sceme of the normal Ultri-marines but i want to play different chapters and traits depending my mood and such. So can i just paint all my marines in the ultri-marine color scheme and for an example play Imperial fists or something of the sort in a tourny situation?
Sorry about the double post
Well... basically using the Traits.. you can make an Ultramarine off cast army.. meaning you can keep the colours of the Ultramarines and the traits as well.
Much must be risked in war.

As long as you tell me what I am facing when I set up. I don't care if your forces are pink.
Tell me you are playing "Ultramarines" and the guy with the Hello Kitty cape is Marneus, I'm fine.
Tell me you are playing "Raven Guard" and the guy with wings is Shrike, I'm still good.
Tell me you are playing "Dark Angels: Deathwing", and the Lysander model is actually Belial, and I will commend you on your intestinal fortitude.
As long as there are no surprises, blends, like Lysander leading a force of Tyrannic veterans, or other such mixes, all should be in order.

i think you could create a second founding chapter of the Ultra marines, so you could use the same paint scheme.
