Are 13th company illegal now? I keep hearing conflicting advice. I wouldn't mind creating a small 13th company force but it's pointless if the rules are banned.
As far as i know they are not as i think all the vet 13th co. players would be talking about it on the forums. And, i just played against 13th. co. yesterday!
They still have the section for them on the U.S. GW site. I dont play space wolves so I would not be your best source, though.
They are still a legal army as you can download the rules here.
They just might not be legal for some tournaments.
Xbox Gamertag: x Helbrecht x
legal to play as long as you have opponents pemition but not allowed in official tournaments.
Thanks for the clarification.
They are still a legal codex and they ARE allowed at tournaments, see the link provided: http://gt.us.games-workshop.com/Rules/40k_lists.htm :from games workshop that shows all the army list that are allowed. 13th company list is in the space marine section at the bottom of that section.
It has been hinted that when the Space Wolves Codex gets redone...they will be officially added as the 13th company to the space wolves so they will have an army list published.
Where the heck did all them guardsmen come from?
Great Wolf! Is that the howl of the 13th?
The UK GT pdf is at http://uk.games-workshop.com/tournam...spack-2007.pdf
Page 4 details the permitted codices. Codex: Eye of Terror is not listed. However, further down the same page, in the right column, it says that players inventing their own chapter can use *any* appropriate codex to represent it. Perhaps this is a loophole?
