space marine battle company--450
plz help it will be greatly appreciated plz help keep the posts coming
I would recommend not getting any of those sets. They'd be good for a normal marine army, but Templar need CCWs and bolt pistols far more than they need bolters, and the large marines sets do not offer that kind of equipment.
Anyways, as you have no troops choices, you should look into SW blood claws for Initiates with CCW/BP and, if you're going to use them, Scouts for Neophytes. Since you need an HQ (as the champ doesn't count as one) a Chaplain would be a good choice. That'll give you a solid foundation to work off of.
Black Templar (3000)
Imperial Guard (1500 and growing)
Idealy you need a solid core of trrops with the templars, get yourself 2 boxes of space wolf blood claws (as you can uses these models for BT as long as you paint them right and dont use any Space wolfparts) and a box of scouts jsut to add one or two to each squad, this is a solid foundation for any marine army, after id think about getting a rhino for one of the squads, or maby even both as this can increese the combat effectiveness of such units drasticly, evein if they only move in it once.
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.

As said, the blood claws are the best way to go, just don't use the space wolf parts. Don't use the plasma pistols either; i don't think crusader squads can take them anyways, though it may be nice to keep them around in case you find somewhere you want to use them
Something I think makes them look more interesting (but its not necessary) is a black templar crusader sprue. Basically, here and there you could give someone a cloak or one of those decorated pistols, etc. Just one sprue for maybe every 2 squads is fine, don't get picky over every member having to have extra stuff
btw: next time can you use commas? I almost thought that an emperor's champion dread came out without me knowing it! :p

get a few boxes of blood claws, for the cc initiates, then get your hands on a box of scouts.. or two (for neophytes) and then order a few uprgade sprews for BT goodness (although this is not necessary).
You also want to get the EC. and probably a chaplain.
Er, okay. I think we've repeated the same thing enough times.
