Hello all! I have a question on how to defeat Eldar in an 800pt game and what to use? I play Black Templar so keep this in mind. Thanks for any replies!

ok eldar with toast you at any distanc over 24" and under 12" so bear this in mind when assaulting cos if your short gradians will rip you to shreads
spambot kill tally: 79
[16:19] <@Alzer> Arky's right though
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> I know he is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.

3 whirlwinds would do the job 2 if you dont wanna feel like to much of a prick

lol. Howabout you exercise some creative tactical thought, taking into account terrain, your opponent, and the kind of army configurations you both have, instead of basically asking for anyone to point out something cheesy and overpowered you may have overlooked.
i have just the solution for you
one deep striking assault squad of termies all with 2 lightning claws mmmmm eldar burger
stick a LRC in with u'r army and take out a squad that is not necessery. it is a troop carrier and will paste amy gardian squad that comes to close.
LRC in 800 pts? No. Thats toast against their bright lances. Bring as many whirlwinds and HB's as you can get your hand on
3 whirl winds
defenityly a chaplin
lots of heavy bolters 1 in all your tac squads
maybey some tornados or bikes to help with armouer.
Yep, I wouldn't go with any vehicles you intend to keep for more than one round.
Heavy bolters and whirlwinds are good. Playing defense could work as long as he doesn't overload on starcannons and brightlances.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
