Wasup! I'm a newbie to 40k, just bought a battle force bulk box, and a Librarian . Anyways I Just have question regarding the Veteran Marine Squad (which is what I'm looking to buy next). It says in the codex their weapons options, then underneath that it says for the Character that the Sergeant can be given terminator honours and if the he is given said honour then all other squad members can be given this option at +__ points. - Remember not to give our individual points costs. - Katie Drake
Now i read the little description in the Wargears section and was wondering that if I do give them the honours then do I have the option of custimizing each model? What I mean is the weapons selection states that I can only give one marine a special weapon upgrade, but if I take the termie H then can I just start sticking power weapons ( additional lightning claws and a power fist). Or does the weapons restriction still apply?
EDIT: Another Question , The Veretan Sergeant for the Socut squad, would that a be a Scout Model? Or a marine in power armor?

the sergeant in a scout squad is wearing the same armor as a normal scout.
also, note that in all instances of squad sergeants given terminator honours, it also specifically states that if they are given terminator honours, then they may select gear from the armory. there is no rule stating that any model given terminator honours automatically has access to the armory, so the answer is no. those models will recieve +1A and LD9 only, but no wargear options.
and just a warning- the veterans box is technically illegal to field as a veteran squad. I would recommend avoiding it until you have fleshed out your army to the point that you can afford a few dead models, or if you plan to field them in separate squads.
EDIT: you are correct, Katie Drake. my mistake. I additionally fixed some grammar. Sorry, i was tired.

fear the smurfs
Okay scout sergeants are the same as a normal scout armour wise.
Now the answer to your second question is no. The squad doesn't get to pick extra weaponry from the armory only the Srg does. Unless the squad is a command squad in which case the the specialists may chose extra equipment but other wise no.
The vet pack however is not illegal. The extra weapons choices are there so that you can have the weapons for your Srg and other vet srgs throughout your army.
