Oh YEAH! It would make the GK the elite of the elite.
No way! It would make them too expensive to field and everyone would cry CHEESE!
Question says it all...
I KNOW this will never happen, but I thought I'd ask. Since our Power Armor guys are toting one of the best move and shoot weapons I just thought the GK termies should have the best TDA mounted weapon. It still has a shorter range, and lots of folks would cry CHEESE at all the rending, but I'd figure the points per Termie would tip in at close to 60 or 65 so we couldn't really field all that many.

yeah, and so should gaurdsmen, and grots....
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
What's wrong with the psycannon? The more we can be distinguished from lame-o space marines, the better.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

Psycannons are the weapons of choice for Grey Knights. They hunt daemons - they just happen to be the similar to the other super-human space marines in the galaxy.
Easy decision .

I think the better question would be heavy bolters...If they all had heavy bolters they would probably cost 5-10 points more per guy, and could really lay down some anti light infantry fire power; and they already dominate the anti heavy infantry CC. It would make them a great choice against any amry, not just the MEQ lists which I feel is all they are good for now. Plus it wouldn't make them dominate vehicles which would ruin the strengths/weaknesses of the Daemonhunters.
Heavy bolter Termies that can upgrade to psycannons would be awesome.
It has a certain symmetry, no?
