I have recently battled a DH vs DH with a GW employee. He says that for every familiar you have you get plus 1 initiative. I don't think this is true so Im askin you guys. I assumed that if you have say three of them you can have up to 4 psychic powers but that is the only real benefit you get from more familiars (apart from cannonfodder for your ][ lord) as well as +1 initiative for them being asigned to him.
Also it says that the things classed as daemons are daemonhosts, can you use psychic powers such as banishment on them?
It alsosays vehicles with parasistic possesion, living vehicle upgrades also do, so does things like sanctuary affect them?
thanx in advance.
You get a extra slot for psychic power and +1 initiative for every familiar you have.
If daemonhosts counts as daemons you can use all the special rules and phsychic power against them that affects daemons.
If a vehicle counts as a daemon then that vehicle can be affected by any of the phsycic powers and rules that you normaly use against daemons.
hope that cleared up some of your questions.

Actually, no matter how many familiars you have, you only get +1 initiative, not +2, +3 etc.
flinger is correct. each lets you add another psychic power, but only 1 initiative. The exact wording in the book is "If the inquisitor has one or more familiars in his retinue, he benefits from a +1 initiative
but what about the vehicle with parasitic possesion and sanctuary
yes, both Daemonhosts and Posessed Vehicles count as Daemons, so Sanctuary etc will work on them
you get +1 iniative for the first familiar and you can have an extra psychic power for each familiar
