    Brazier of Holy Fire...

I'm new to 40k, and new to Witch Hunters, and the only thing thats really confused me so far is this whole "What you see is what you get" rule, and the Brazier of Fire. I wanna give some Vet. Sister Superiors braziers, the only problem is the Sister Superior that came with the Sisters of Battle Squad is already holding what looks like a pistol and chainsword. So, two questions really, 1: What does the Brazier of Holy Fire look like? I can't find any pictures of it or information on it other than the vague description in the Codex. 2: If my Vet. Sister Superior already has two weapons on her model, would i have to convert her to any extent in order for her to wield the Brazier?

    Thank's for all the help.

Essentially its a torch. And a fancy one at that. but trust me its not worth wasting points on, you get one shot with it, and then after that well there's nothing good left to it.

And yes you would have to convert a model to be holding one.

What might a better choice be? My idea was to give them power weapons and the brazier, but what other weapon might suit better, or be worth the points?

Your better off with a power weapon and the plasma pistol thats on her, heck call it a bolt pistol and you'll still be good.

Positioning is everything with a flamer, so I occasionally use one on somebody who flies.

I made a couple loose ones that I place next to the user & discard after the flame is done.

I concur with Red, brazier/power weapon combo on seraphim can be pretty good. The brazier counts as a second weapon to give you the extra attack.

It was a way to get a second flame template for me as I generally use 1 hand flamer and 1 IP in my sera squads. I dont think I would take it on regular sisters but it was excellent on Seraphim.

This is the one I created some time ago... I like it for the extra flamer that you can take for regular SOBs, if the squad packs two Melta guns already... You esentially get three special weapons. Sure, it is one-time use, but in reality, I hardly ever get two rounds of flaming from my Rhino-based Sisters. After they hit the first time, they either get counter-charged, or are moving on foot and relying on Bolters...

Either way - like the model, used it several times:

If you still want to model a Brazier of Holy Fire, yes it can look like a flaming torch. I personally prefer it if they look like a basket of fuel/coals suspended on chains.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
