A few of questions re. the Holocaust power.
If a unit has the Holocaust power can it be used in addition to normal cc attacks?
I know it has I1 and would strike last.
Can a Brother Captain and his command retinue of Terminators BOTH have the Holocaust power?
If it is INSTEAD of cc, then what is the point in a Terminator unit having it? Is it for a last ditch effort when only one Terminator is standing and a Str 5 large blast template would inflict much more damage than his two attacks?
If so, how many Terminators need to be left standing before the Holocaust power inflicts more damage than their regular cc attacks?
Does anyone use the power? For purely fluff reasons I think that it should be given to Terminator units.
Thanks for any/all comments.
Holocaust is in addition to your normal CC attacks. As for the HQ with retinue they can both take it just remember if you suffer perlis of the warp for the retinue then every GKT takes it. the GM / Bro-Cap acts as the caster for purposes of placement.
In normal games I almost never take it unless I got a GM and dont take and GKT for him, that way if he gets in close combat he can dig himself out. But I find it to be really useful in apocalypse games as my GKT always end up getting swarmed by gaunts or orks.

Overall, I adore this power. I love both the fluff and the application, and it generally makes back its points many times over when I use it.
