Welcome to Librarium Online!
With apocalypse looming, and the new chaos-psyker goodness in their new codex, I've been looking at the orbital strike options.
Now lance and melta strikes are pretty straight-forward...
On the question of the psyk-out warhead though, it still suffers from the inaccuracy result, but additionally, the particles of it are noted as drifting.
I've heard that this is adjudicated in two ways...
1.) Its like a second scatter effect.
2.) You essentially hit everything under the template across the entire length of the drift.
Anybody got clarification? I'm leaning towards 1 since 2 seems a bit insane.
Have you read the codex?
I have to consider it a second scatter effect due to the wording of blast radius within the paragraph.
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
Yeah I did read it, it just seemed a bit odd to me since it described it as 'drift' as if implying something 'drifted' over the area.
I figured it was representative of an extra scatter from the start, but I kinda wanted to make sure.
