Hey, I don't know if you can or not, but I assume you can mix units like Catachans and Cadians with Valhallans? I don't see any Valhallan warriors for sale anymore. Just the box sets of Catachans and Cadians, and then lots of blisters for them. Did they discontinue the other lines, or what? I know it'd look better to field one solid army...but are you allowed to mix the two groups?
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."
Mixing the various guard models is fine, as long as you make sure your opponent knows what doctrines you are using and each model has the proper gear. An easy way to tie them together would be to say the units are remnants of a much larger force forced to consolidate their troops into a more suitable imperial force.
It's very much allowed.
The old models are still available though, I don't think they've discontinued a model ever, unless the molds broke. You can still order them from mail order.
Yes of course you can mix as long as you like how it looks.

If you want Valhallans, you're going to have to go through the online store, mail order, or ebay.
I like ebay. There are some amazing deals on there. I pity anyone who has only ever purchased straight from GW.
Granted, I went through mail order to get 10 plasma gunners in bulk. heh.
