I had a similar thought, but they actually make the weapon have the same AP as a heavy bolter -- it doesn't specify lowering by one. I personally think Psycannon Bolts should add one to the weapon strength and make it AP4, ignore invulnerable saves, which would at least be consistent.

I voted for the first one, but think that they should have a 'Rending' ability like Assault Cannons. Something to give them a bit HURUMPHHH!:rofl

fine the way it is - don't go stuffing up my Psycannons, unless you are making them better.

This is what I think the psycannon should be when they update it.

Pyscannon = this weapon has 2 different types of fire. (+25 points for PAGK, +30 points for GKT)
    Type 1 = 36" range, S5, AP 3, Assault 3
    Type 2 = 18" range, S10, AP 2, Heavy 1
    - You must set fire to water or you will be extinguished.

Don't you think that Str 10 is a "little" too much?
I also dislike AP3 on an [Assault]3 weapon ... It would make the weapon inbalanced/uber. It would kill almost everything (except terminators) in no time ...

Imho the Psycannon itself is fine, they should improve the psycannon bolts a bit or make it cheaper.
