Hey there people... I've fallen in love, and as always love makes me blind and stupid. Death Cult Assassins.. even though they suck in anything not related to WH (or in games above 2000 points) I'm actually thinking about fielding three of them, in a combat patrol! :/
130 to spend here, on retinue and equipment
Death Cult (3).
Grey Knights (4/GKJ).
The thought here is, that in 400 points the enemy is unlikely to have large amounts of anything that can stand up to three times 3 ST4 Power weapon attacks, and if they do, then my GKs might make it there before the Assassins croak. We are playing a friendly tournament and I don't mind loosing, but I wan't that insurgent death squad "feel", so how would you go about it? I'm facing Tyranids, Necrons, IG, and Eldar.
I don't mind allies if someone has ideas in that direction, but I was thinking maybe 3 HB servitors, a very simple Inq. (maybe CCW/Pistol only), and some ablative wounds of some sort. I really need bodies on the field, and some horde stopping power :/
Personally for the inquisitor I would take 2HBs, 1 PC, and 2 sages. This leaves 15 points to spend.
The problem I see is the lack of bodies in this army, since combing GKs and death cults in combat patrol eats up your points pretty quickly.
Maybe instead of GKs you could take ISTs with plasma/melta?
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

Thanks for the links Goblin, very useful! I knew my darlings were good for something 8Y
Switching the GKs for Stormtroopers might be the way to go... It seems dual plasma squads is the way to go?
