Following the reading of the first Soul Drinker's novel, there was a brief description of an Adeptus Mechanicus Tech Guard loading haywire grenades into his grenade launcher (see the assault on the space gun platform). This got me thinking if any Inquisition players would be interested in seeing a wider variety of ammunition for their stormtroopers?
Examples would be:
Grenade Launcher:Metal storm rounds:Shotgun:
Promethium rounds: ignore cover
Choke/Smoke: affects anything not wearing a helmet
Sanctifier Grenades: Ignore Invul saves
Haywire: Make this expensive due to its power and rarityExecutioner rounds: higher strength
Hellfire rounds: Fixed wounding dice roll

I like the idea Penny, however, i do believe posting stats like those are against LO ruleset. And it is a good way to make one of two things happen.
1. Get LO shut down
2. Get this thread locked.
The discussion sounds cool, but remove the stats before you get ur thread locked bud!
Also, after playing too much inquisitor, I think too, that having ammunition types for our stormtroopers would be cool also.
Im not sure how GW would go about doing this, but in all intense and purposes, it could be easily screwed up and turned into cheese. Sadly.
Thanks for the warning. Is it simply deleting the stats or is there more i should delete?
Basically dont post stats. that is a big NO NO. Also, dont post direct text quotes.
Do: have fun
-add to conversations
-use good sentence structure and grammar (even if i dont *sigh*)
there are more rules, but those are the ones i generally try and stick by, and so far, im doing good for myself here!
anyways, as i said earlier, i love the idea, though the thought kinda makes me think cheese. it would be really difficult to manufacture proper rules for it.
