I just wanted to check on everyone's opinion regarding this.
The BA Rhino lists its wargear has having a storm bolter. It also says you can purchase an additional one. Is this a misprint?
I don't think I've ever seen a rhino with two storm bolters.
That's standard for Rhinos in every Imperial army I can think of. It's just rather a lot of points to get two lousy bolter shots on a vehicle that never lives past turn 2 anyway!
In most cases it's worth paying the additional 5 points (5 points more than a Rhino with the two storm bolters, that is) to just get a Razorback. Twin linked heavy bolters are nice.
But Blood Angel Razorbacks dont have overcharged engines...
And thats where things get really fun. I prefer the Rhino for almost that reason alone. I don't normally put ten marines in a transport.
Not to mention its cheaper
All Rhinos come with a storm bolter and it's always been possible to upgrade them with an additional pintle-mounter storm bolter under the Vehicle Upgrades section. You can do that to nearly all vehicles, in fact, leading to the Baal Predator with 12 shots a turn.
