I've looked through the SM codex and didn't see the LRC mentioned, but people on L-O have mentioned it... what's the difference between it and a regular Land Raider? thx.

-Can I pretend this guardian is an Exarch?
-Well, I'll just pretend this jellybean is a Dreadnought, then when it's destroyed I can eat it!

You wouldn't find it in the codex, its in a white dwarf,
normal land-raider
strengths
14 armour all round, 2 sets of twin-linked lascannons, twin-linked heavy bolter, machine spirit
weakness
big target, transport only 5 models in terminator armour, can only kill a few modles a turn

crusader Land-raider
strengths
14 armour all round, machine spirit, two sets of hurricane bolters (12 shots with rerolls i think), twin-linked assault cannon, and multi melta, transport 15 regular marines, but not two squads at the same time, or 7/8 (i can't remember which) models in termie armour, and unless you are BT you can only have one per army
weakness
big target, lacks any real anti tank power (multi-melta is too short ranged),
What doesn't kill you, cripples you for life

I will not eat oysters, i want my food dead, not sick, not wounded, dead.

the rules for the lrc are located in the armagedon codex they are in with the black templar rules the difference is the crusader is more anti infantry(lots of guns) and can carry more troops

Read the rules. Posting stats of any type is against them. You have been warned, FA.

lrc can have upto 19 shots in 1 turn if you pay the points for a hunter killer and storm bolter not too mention the 15 men transport
its got great anti tank but only short ranged but effective

a normal lr has the best armour possible and is good for taking down 1 tank per turn

lrc = anti infantry with more transport space, but short ranged
lr = anti tank with smaller infantry space, but long ranged

There's that, and the fact that there's more than one thread on this topic already. Do a search for it. Thread locked.
