    Seriously don't you?
Imperial Gaurd got the Baneblade, Chaos got the plaguereaper, orks got three super heavies. \The only option for space marine players is the Thunderhawk which costs more in $ then it does in points.

Does anyone have any ideas for super Space marine heavies like land riaders without the transport capacity, some structure points and some serious guns?

My thoughts were a standered Land raider, remove the sponson lascannons, add the prometheus sponsons, a extra hull point, and a turret mounted turbo laser destructor with some sort of coaxle weapon. Assuming you can find a way to modle the turret that comes out to about the price of a baneblade in $. The only problem is desighning a turret with that kind of weapon.

Actually they thought of that and so the LR Terminus pattern came out... of course it is not so playable as it might get blown away by it's own but it is a super-heavy one!

But they don't have anything, or generally need anything like that, fluff wise.
If they need a titan, they'll get one. If they need a baneblade and some guard, they'll get them.

Prolonged sieges and engagments aren't what marines are about. They are a spear tip, a strike force. Do whatever needs doing and if anything needs mopping up they'll get someone else to do it.
If they need big holes blowing in things, they'll get guard to do it, or blast it from space, then pour in and claim the objective.

They might need things that can take out super heavies, like Titanhammer squads or Terminus Land Raiders, but they don't really need to use them themselves.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.

First the Terminus pattern land raider is not super heavy becuase it has no hull points, and can still get blown up by a single ork with a rokkit launcha.
Second what are the imperial fists, and pre-heresy Iron warriors-the ultimate siege units in the imperium.

To be honest a superheavy really doesn't fit in with a space marine army. Space marines are suposed to be used for rapid precision strikes. Super heavy heavys are for the most part slow and unwieldy compared to a drop pod assaul, armored sprearhead, or teleportation strikes. If you want super heavies ally with Imperial Guard, Titan legions, or Adeptus mechanicus.

Plus, on IF, there are other ways to wage a siege than get something big with a lotta guns to pummel it.

Hell yeah. I mean, if you don't got a superheavy, use more firepower. Hell, that's a beloved strategy anyway, right?

Yeah, when they had tens of thousands of troops.
Plus, this isn't Pre Heresy, this is now.
Chapters are rarely fielded in full, meaning you have less than 1000 troops. Not a big number for a siege.

SM's don't need them, they just need something to be able to kill them.
