Any have one with gk or used one with them whats it like and is it worth the points
I've never use any thunderhawk... and my answer doesn't really regard this post, but your other one (te closed one...)!
I too am dislexique, so i don't give a sh**t about your spelling... i understand.
I'll be glad to help you painting, but in ich country are you in? how much time have you got?
Is it worth the points?
You could use them for fluff reasons, deploy your forces with your thunderhawk at the start of the game. Everyone will look at that, I'm sure
I plan to buy one too but have to earn that money first ... they are extremely expensive.
If you want to add big-scale units, use Titans. They are of more use on the battlefield and look very cool
thank you for saying that about the spelling
and thanks to both of you for the advice on the TH
i live in the uk down south

mmm still cant make my mind up how would i use it and will it benfit the army ????/ come peps help ! ;Y
For fluff reason, if you hold transports in reserve you can deploy them using the Thunderhawk.
Gamewise (and I would not recommend to use it, even in Apocalypse) as fire support unit.
But for the points it cost it has to few weapons and thin armour.
Valkyres also look very nice, but are not very effective either for their point cost I think.
Using it in an army is just for style imo, if you use it as a unit in your game don't expect to win.
Whatever you do with it, your opponent will look like this anyway:
Ive used one before
Well lets see for normal 40k games:::
No super-heavies are truly worth it tbh because of how many points you have to spend on using them and the fact they count as a FoC in their own right
though if your opponent did let you and you really could fit one in for a normal game then lets see about the practically of it::
Only AA-mounted weapons can target a super-heavy flyer -- which means only Whirlwnds and other FW models are going to be able to target the Thunderhawk
You can deploy your models and shoot/assault after deplyoing them which means you could deply all of your Grey Knights behind enemy lines, shoot the b'jesus out of them and then assault
thunderhawks are ok I suppose in normal games (but lets face 700+ points for a single model and in an already point-tight army is just not worth it is it?
It looks flashy but is not practical (esp after your first onslaught with the troops and Dreadies behind enemy lines in which everyone will refuse to ever play you agin)
The Inquisition - 38-2-3
Tomb Kings - 1-1-1
Grey Company Elves - 16-1-3
Saurons Force of the Black - 8-1-3
It's better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven
My plan what im thinking is to have my gk gm and his term bodygaurds in the crusader and drop them in on turn two so they dont get so much flak
but trust me im all ears on this one guys keep the adfvice comeing ;Y
It will also only be used in 2000 points plus games has my pales have some HUGE ARMYS IE 5000 points plus
also i was looking at the valkery for smaller games
