What does Pure Grey Knights have vs. a Destroyer Heavy Necron list at 1500 points?
I was thinking about using this list the next time I play against him:What do you think about these Dreads? Or should I make them TLLC + ML?Originally Posted by List #1
Hm, for pure Grey Knights there are not much options.
DCCW is a waste on Dreadnoughts against Necrons. Don't expect your Dreadnought get into close combat at any time, due to Gauss Weapon properties they will fall very quickly if in range of their weapons.
Either use a ML on them or don't use them at all.
If you want to use Dreadnoughts, equip them with either Plasma Cannon or TLLC, Plasma is also great against their troops and TLLC will hit more often (which is not that bad against Destroyers)
Either use the Dreadnoughts with their low-AP weapons to deny Destroyers their armour save or use the GK Hero/Leader with Psycannon to deny them their invulnerability save if they move fast.
Heh. I just answered this over on the B&C for ya.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
RIP Warhammer 40,000: 21 Sep 1998 - 24 May 2014
grey knight terminators own them reli badly i can remember taking 40 shots from there normal troops and was still standing
reasons why the own them
ignore armour saves so they dont get up from ressurection i think (please point if im wrong)
a high strength close combat weapon vs there destroyers
i would use lascannons for there monoliths or even a dreadnaught maybe getting into close combat
i would use an asassin for their necron lord probably callidus would do it
