I'm doing an army that includes an Exorcist, but is otherwise generally free of Sisters of Battle... I've got some Forge World Inquisition rhino doors and symbols to replace some of the SoB-ish stuff on the Exorcist, but there's some fleur-de-lis here and there that can't really be covered up.
So, is the fleur-de-lis mutually exclusive with Sisters of Battle in 40k, or is it interchangeable with the Inquisition =I=?
I believe Webelo scouts also use the Fleur de Lis, but um...is that not relevant? Just kidding.
AHEM. Anyway, I think in fluff terms the Fleur de Lis is technically a Sisters thing...I feel like I read something about it being reserved for sisters who show great valor etc.
In 40K it's a Sororitas thing. Sorry.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
isn't it a adepta sororitas vehicle anyways so i think it would have that symbol every where or you try and file them off
THAT'S JAKOB WITH A 'K'!
I know you're kidding. But someone had to defend their honor, heh.
I think it's a great idea to use the FdL symbol throughout the entire army.
That's one of my favorite aspects of 40K is their use of ancient symbols and archetypes.
Some of them are poorly placed, but most are very thoughtfully applied.
Sisters Repentia: Wow what beautiful models! Wow what terrible rules! -stjohn70
some inquisitors closely affiliated with the SoB do bare the fleur-de-lis. So although the lily flower symbolmore explanation here isn't strictly used by the SoB, it is a symbol closely affiliated with the Sororitas.
So stormtroopers of with hunter inquisitor might bare the lily flower.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
AS per others, it is Sisters iconography, BUT
consider the Exorcist, these are all aging and dated vehicles, with no ability to create new ones, hence an Inq may be able to get hold of one but at some point it would have been in the possesion of the SoB, hence it may well have fleur de lyse still on it from that time
Everything you have been told is a lie!
