Probably going to be Bretonnians bodies with Cadian or Catachan lasgun arms, and some random heads from both. I haven't decided on a color scheme yet. Gotta finish my Space Marines from this world first before I start adding more armies.
The 51st Shatterstone Mobile Infantry (MI) 'D' company.
Cadian models, codex grey armour, shadow grey fatigues, bleached bone webbing and chaos black lasguns with boltgun metal for the muzzles.
The name refers to facial hair, not playing style.Originally Posted by A news vendor's stand, London, June 1940
well here goes,
The 9th Solentian Division which includes,
3rd solentian rifles, red company (napoleonic style green stuff conversions on a cadian base model, painted with A russian Napoleonic theme ie. green jackets bone trousers, black kiwer and red edging)
3rd solentian rifles , black company (steel legion models painted in near steel legion colours but with blue/grey trousers. These guys are mechanised and sandy coloured chimeras that has brown disruptive lines)
4th Solentian armour (tanks, they are painted in various schemes although the above mentioned scheme is the basic one. One squadron of russ is painted in that aswell as one of my bassies, the other squadron of russes is getting a winter make over so is whitewashed)
7th comitatense 1st company (cadian troopers (this is my main army) some conversions but basic scheme is german field grey armour highlighted with some green, the cloth is british style dp using grey brown and green, these guys are going to be mechanised in halftracks which are in a brown and dirty yellow striped scheme)
7th comitatense 2nd company (cadian troopers in an early WW2 wermacht scheme, similar to the invasion of France colours in the uniform, there are also some salamanders being scratch built for this army based on sdkfz 222's being painted in grey)
12th Liminatii (mix of cadian and catachan parts originally in a desert scheme although now moved to a city so being repainted with some para additiions. again a tamiya german field grey base highlighted through green wiht cloaks a mix of green black grey and brown, bone is used for emphasis on skulls etc.)
16th Liminatii (cadian troopers in a mechanised army. black fatigues with bright green armour, the chimeras are scratch built and are in a bright green scheme)
19th Solentian lancers (less of an army more of a cavalry attatchment, these are cavalry based on napoleonic russian cavalry, they are to complement the 3rd solentians)
33rd Hassnian field squadron (cadian troopers based on the Raf regiment unit 33rd squadron. they have blue fatigues a dark almost RAF blue, the amrour is light blue as in ice blue and they are in a winter setting, Brit Para style troopers are being converted for the vets)
132nd Catachan (basic catachans really green trousers and darker jackets with red bandanas etc.)
There is also another army in the making although all of the fluff etc is on my broken laptop, they are only two models at the moment and probs wont get over 400 points.
Yes It seems like a lot of armies but most arent full armies and are generally mixed and matched ie. the 3rd solentian black company may be aided by the 4th solentian armour or have recon elements form teh 16th liminatii.
I like my guard I does.
Colonel Clubs 'Blackjacks'
777th regiment of the famed Gamblers of Gazden
"The Emperor can save your soul, but only Lady Luck can save your ass."
