I'm going to be playing this new guy at the shop soon. He plays flesh tearers. Never read their rules before and was just wondering, how much different are they than normal BA's and what should I look out for even more so in that army than in a regular BA army?
they have a bigger amount of cats who go to the Death Company. So just watch out for that.
Also, they have the Death Company Dreadnought. That thing, from what I read, is strong. Also, the blood rage for them is a bit better. Instead of 6, it is, I think, 5-6 for them in the process of that the vet sergs go to the death company on a 5-6.

i switched to flesh tearers from regular BA..they're a great army for the slightly sadistic loyalist..as far as the difference between regular BA's it's pretty much less tanks and more Death Company..not many vets or heavy weapons either..look out for a lot of CC brutality..and stay as far away as possible from the DC dred!
They really are badass...where are their rules?

they arnt much to worry about, they are just BA with less tanks more rhinos and possibly a pair of DC dreds, not to worry tho a good anti tank weapon will work well on him!!!!! (i collect them to by the way)
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.
~~ Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death~~
One thing that every one forgot to mention is why the DC Dred is so good...
It can go up gainst infantry with the heavy flamer or in hth with an extra attack and also against vehicles with the meltagun and Strenght 10 +2D6 for armour penetration (two dreadnought close combat weapons).
Also Crew Shaken and Crew Stunned have no effect.. (not very sure about that).

Indeed, it's like a Furioso on steroids
The rules for FTs can be found in Index Astartes 1, along with Dark Angels, Emperor's Children, White Scars, etc.
I'm still tempted to make a FT army based around a Librarian and his Strike Force hunting for a cure for th Black Rage, having his force slowly consumed by the Curse of Sanguinius, beating down anyone unfortunate enough to get in his way

FT are great...my entire chapter is a failed FT experiment to cure the black rage..instead it turned them into raving bloodthristy lunatics and caused a reacurring genetic mutation that reults in wings growing on about 3% of the subjects (insert long drawn out quest for a cure while trying to avoid the inquisition)
