    Power fist reference?

    Hi:

Ok, I could swear I read somewhere that the Dread's CCW "counts as a power fist" and that I read something similar regarding the servo-arm attacks from the techmarine and his retinue, but I've been through the SM and DH codex and can't find it anywhere. I realize I may just be blind, but if anyone can actually find where it says that and cite page reference I shall be most grateful (+rep).

    Thanks,
    Canew

Dreadnought cc weapons are discussed on page 73 of the core rulebook; they double strength and ignore armor saves, but still strike at I4, so they are better the power fists!

The servo-arm reference is in the armory section of the Codex Space Marines, page 24. The entry here is a little ambiguous, but as far as I can tell it provides an additional attack, separate from his other attacks, that counts as a power fist.

Correct, the servo arm grants a single power fist attack in addition to his normal compliment of attacks.

Note that depending on the codex, the Servo Arm works slightly differently. As a direct example, Dark Angels Techmarines don't specify they work like Powerfists, so will strike at I10 when in cover.

Hmm... still looking for this one. Don't have the core book with me, just the BFM, "Reader's Digest" book. What section are you looking in?

*Flips through codex* Yep, there it is. It's official: I'm an idiot.

EDIT: Just found the other reference, too. Again: I'm an idiot.

    Thanks!
