Errr... There is no option to select "ALL"

I have played Apoc games with Marauders and Lightnings. Marauders just obliterate stuff in my experience, but are very expensive ($$$ terms). Plus, you can only use those models for Apoc games (Super Heavies and from FW on top of that), whereas non-heavies could be used in normal 40K games.... Arvus and Aquila have no weapons to really speak off...

Oh - do you have any experience with Forge World's resin?

agreed if you can afford it marauders will annihilkate anyuthing they fly over no exceptions!

however i have a soft spot for the valkyrie it is without a doubtr one of the coolest flyers out there (better looking than most of the eldar stuff \!) and brings the pain often enough

There isnt a option for all the flyer because I A) dont want lots of flyers, just one, and I really dont have the money for more than 1 or 2.

Also I do have a bit of experience with FW models and kits. Mainly orks stuff.

Try Vulture - it looks sweet, is not a super heavy (so you can always use it in regular 40K), loads some long-range punch and seems fluffy for Inquisitorial Air Support. Valkyriee is also sweet, but it is more of a transport than gunship... Arvus is just a flying Rhino - will not help you win, but it might be fluffy to use...

if you like fluff then fine, otherwise dont bother with either of these matey
    VULTURE GUNSHIP
can be configutred a number of ways, fine aircraft and relatively cheap
    IMPERIAL THUNDERBOLT HEAVY FIGHTER
    strongest option
    IMPERIAL GUARD VALKYRIE
tends to lack fire power a little but not bad, gives you nice transport options too
Rumour control says these will be out in plastic with codex planet strike before he end of the year
    LIGHTNING IMPERIAL FIGHTER
very nice AT ability, 6 hellstrikes and TLLC threatens super heavies
    MARAUDER DESTROYER
entirely different kettle of fish, flying superheavyu with associated price hike in both pounds and points, very nice if you can
    MARAUDER IMPERIAL BOMBER
prefer the destroyer, much more versitile

so these are all very different things, ultimatley voted for power and went for marauder destroyer

Sorry I forgot to say what it is going to be used for, what I am looking for is a long range fire support unit, optional: transport and usable in normal 40k.

Also I thought that if its not GW, like FW ect then you must ask your oppnent first and cant be used in a tornamant. Have I got this wrong?

For Apoc Games I would personally go with the Lightning Strike Variant... Lascannons and Hellstrikes very nice since Apoc will probably have loads of tanks to shoot at... (we can handle infantry fine on our own anyways)

Then of course another benefit is it can be used in normal games as well

if you want trnsport then there is only one viable option, the valkyrie, the other two transports are pointless unl4ess you want terrain, if you want to use it outside appoc then the marauders are probably out (being super heavies), the vulture, whilst nice, I have one for my Elysians, is not a MEQ killer, it can be turned into a tank hunter but is not better at this than the lightening or thunderbolt or even the valk, and if your opponent does bane blades or titans then I think I agree mostly with Gen, last lightening I built I magnetised the Assault cannon and more hellstrkes so the thing was interchangeable between normal and strike varriant, for general purpose the strike is nice, but against heavy armour all those ordianace shots are the biz
