I havn't been on LO in a while, so i just thought i'd ask a quick question.
My main gaming buddies both play marines, as do I (well, i'm planning to). One friend plays vannila ultramarines, with a little more emphasis on infantry firepower, and 2-3 dreadnoughts.
My other friend is in the proces of starting a BT army, which as most of you already knew is very assault ordinary. (by that time I had already decided to play a marine army next, and i had picked up the codex, which is why I am playing marines and not another army)
So, which army do you think will perfrom better agianst these armies, Imperial fists or White Scars (with traits)?
Thanks again for the advice,

I'd say that Imperial Fists would do best if you use their Traits since you'll have no real problem outshooting either army (Tank Hunters on Devastators will make short work of Dreadnoughts and any vehicle that the Templars take as well).
In the long run you will regret it if you build an army based on what your opponents are playing. You should base the choice more on what you will enjoy playing and modeling. Winning battles is not as enjoyable as playing with an army you are proud to call your own.
