I thinking about getting a new army once i finished my marines (army list in space marine army list) i've finished painting the 1500 list and i'm about half way to finishing the rest for apocalyspe (by the way i'm a slow painter) so i was thinking about my next army, i've already got about 500-1000 points of random space wolves, but i really like witch hunters, i've oredered the codex, i'm sort of thinking about empire for fantasy (but not for this forum) so i'll shut up about that, anyway i'm babbling, the point of this is i wanted some advice on witch hunters, good time to start (MABYE a possible codex soon, i don't know) or any other problems,
so if you can be bothered on info or problems reagareding my dilema would be gratfully recieved
how about both? i already have space marines and witch hunters but am waiting for space wolves to update before delving into them.
THAT'S JAKOB WITH A 'K'!
I started my SoB army after seeing in in the back of an old 2nd Ed rulebook. Lucky for me the Witch Hunters Codex was released 7 months later.
But everyone's different. I suggest you read the Codex when you get it because there are two sides to WH (three if you include allies); the Inquisition and the Sisters of Battle. Only you can decide which you'll prefer.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Witch hunters were the focal point of the first white dwarf i read and i guess thats what drove me to start a sisters army. i mean i only recently started them but i remember how much i liked them from when i read it. Anyway a little of topic. I think whitch hunters make a good change of pace after doing a space marine army (at least more so then sw's) i had done a dark angels army before i started my sisters and i really liked the diversity that comes with a witch hunters army and the models are awsome (although a few plastics wouldent go astray haha) but really its just what really interests you.
I'm sure that either would be a reprieve from your previous armies, but Sisters seem more satisfying to me than my previous space marine efforts. Sisters, imo, have more flavor and make you think a little bit more.
De gustibus non est disputandum.
The Imperium Emporium: Jeb's Imperial Curiosities plog, starting with Grey Knights!
Sisters Repentia: Wow what beautiful models! Wow what terrible rules! -stjohn70

I will go and pester my GW shareholder who answers these nice questions re IG, but I doubt that'll be released before October at the very earliest. He probrably won't answer anyway. (Above 3 have been confirmed)
