This is really a two topic thread if im honest.
Firstly can WH induct any Imperial guard appoc units or do we need to fill certain requirements such as when we induct a leman russ in regular 40K?
Secondly everyone post your ideas for WH only Appoc units:
The Holy Ocestra:
Type: Tank (0-1)
Weapons: Exorcist launcher, 2x Twin-linked Lascannons
This unit is basically a landraider helious but with an exorcist launcher instead of a whirlwind laucher. However it cannont carry any troops.
I would hazard a guess that it is wort about 270-290pts
I based it on the idea behind the fortress of arrogence baneblade. A one of a kind battle tank. Please comment and leave your own ideas.:rofl
Something similar to this was posted on Warseer a few months back in a competition that ended up not happening due to some of the organisers pulling out at the end. Some of the ideas generated were pretty good.
well apart from stating the obvious (and thats that the baneblade was born for witchunters i mean look at the thing all those arches and whatnot )
how about a titan in the shape of saint katherine spewing fire and reapeting 'remember me' from multiple loudspeakers with the biggest heavy flamer the universe has ever seen ;Y
"take my love, take my land, take me to where i cannot stand, i don't care i'm still free you can't take the sky from meee" ;- firefly
"i'm gonna grant you your greatest wish i'm gonna show you a world without sin" ;- serentiy
"I am a leaf on the wind, watch how i soar" ;- serenity
I think it would be totally cool to have a WH baneblade, lots and lots of Immolator pieces, with a huge flamer/inferno cannon, those Immolator turrets with H:flamers as sponsons.. a huge tank driving around and burning stuff with very much fire..
Or just use a hellhammer with lots of heavy flamers. ;Y

Well, in many ways it's not remarkable that the witch hunters have no super heavy vehicles, mainly because of their role as inquisitorial punishers and investigators. Sisters of battle are not mainline warforces.
The reason why they have no super heavies, however, is because GW only focusses on big (=hard selling) armies, not on fringe armies, which unfortunatly, SoB are.
I personally think a massive tank / mobile church could really work in a WH army. They would just take their own Chapel along with them to every planet!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
The trouble is that a lot of which hunter players are feeling a little left out with regards to apocalypse. Many of them have want their army to recieve a little more attention than it has.
Something along the lines of part baneblade, part war shrine to the Emperor.
A while back, someone posted this thread concerning a superheavy Apoc vehicle for Witchhunters that they were modelling. They had also drawn up a loose datasheet concerning weapons and special rules and whatever else. Take a look at it; it's quite inspiring.
The Emperor set a fire in their hearts that they might burn the iniquitous and the impure from his sight. And the light of that flame shall be as a beacon to the faithful, a light that shines in the darkest places.
Yes - there was player here making a giant, rolling cathedral that was looking pretty nice. I am not sure if he ever finished, and the link posted above does not seem to work (at least for me). I think that there was something on it in the RULES section. Overall, a Baneblade can be appropriated for almost any Imperial army with some conversion work. But, like said above, it would be nicer if there were something official, designed by GW to go with the WH army. On the other side, WHs don’t really do full-scale war missions I think. It is either SOBs on the ground, or Exterminatus on the whole world. We do not take half-a**ed measures here ;Y
