Im intrested in starting up an imperial guard army but i wanted to make it with the catachan models, however a couple of people i know said its not too good an idea because they might be getting rid of the catachan model line.
is his true? Are there any plans or rumours that this might happen in the near future? or are my friends just talking out there ;?
If someone could clear this up for me id be gratefull
I sure havent heard any rumors of them discontinueing the catachan line, and i sure hope they don't.
a few reasons why i think your bud's might be wrong.
1. Imperial guard are a fairly popular army for GW's consumers, and catachans are definetly the second most bought type of imperial guard, heck i saw armies at the phonix GW (before it was closed leaving me reeling for another gaming club that i still havent found ) tha mixed catachans and cadian models or that used catachan models but not as jungle fights, just as a more "hardcore" feeling infantryman.
2.GW has already gone to the trouble of making plastic molds for these guys, wich is more than they can say for tallarn or the armeggedon steel legions.
anyways i hope im right, as the catachan minis are just plain cool.
