When the daemonhost psychic ability "Teleport" is diced up the rules (which I don't have in front of me) say words to the effect "place the model where you want on the table, then scatter it as per deep strike".
Does this mean:
1. Place the ordnance template over the model and scatter that.
2. Roll 2d6 and the scatter die and move the model as indicated.
Presumeably the daemonhost is destroyed if it scatters within 1" of an enemy model, which makes it very vulnerable (if 2 is correct) when teleporting close enough to an enemy unit to assault it!
How do people play this?
Place the template anywhere on the table you want it to be, roll 2D6 and a Scatter dice. Following the direction of the scatter dice, move the template the ammount of inches indicated in the 2D6. You can now place the model anywhere under the template. (Yes, not within 1" of enemy models or in unpassable terrain).
