I don't think anyone has posted this yet...
Anyways, I found this while visiting FW's site today:
It's basically a Venerable dread with Furious Charge and Litany of Hate. I'm kind of disappointed with the stats though. Since it's a Chaplain, I would have expected another attack, and skill and initiative 5. It also seems to lack the option for a heavy flamer.
That said, I like the model. All it needs to have a big Crozius arm to go with it.

There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

It's stats are in line with the rumoured new chaplain stats.
Yet anoother reason im switching to black templars why would the best fighter have the worst stats

Because chaplains are not the best fighter in a company, that's the company champion.
It does look like a snazzy model. I am tempted to get one for my Mortifactors.... hmmm, red Chappy dread stomping about....

I would have though it would have a huge crozious, ws of 5, Init' the same as other dreds as it is huge and heavy but inspire those around it in a way like the chapter banners do etc. He is more than a ven dred. He is a CHAPLAIN. I'm sure marines close to him would be inspired to great feats of glory knowing such a drednaugt was close by and watching.
More points for it, a HQ choice (not elite) and the ability to affect close by units for a turn in the same way sacred relic does.
I think his stats seem right, after all he is supposed to be wounded enough to make the incarcerate him in the dreadnought, therefore he wouldnt be as quick as he was when "alive", so wouldnt have another attack and initiative, and i assume the weapon skill would be because of the cumbersome size of the claw.
It just need to be massively inspiring to models around it!
anyways, awesome model tbh!
Back in the zone!
Makes sense to me at least.
its such a badass model. and what legend said is right but its a shame that theres no heavy flamer option but i'm pretty sure that'll be fixed (as the rules out now are only experimental)
having it with a built in holy relic would be sweet though
