I happened to see the new Exorcist model in a GW shop while it was being built. While I had my misgivings about a moving church organ, I have to say that they did a very good job of sculpting it. The chassis is the normal plastic rhino (with the new immolator top piece), but the superstructure and all details were made in metal and are very well detailed. For those who had misgivings about the height, it is not that great, and it looks like the rockets can be detachable for transportation purposes.
Disclaimer: Not a sales pitch, I don't work for GW!!
actually I have a fealing that, like the sisters repentia, its going to be used by Slaanesh armies. In the older Chaos codex, on page 43, there is a picture of a chaos rhino with a warp amplifier. The resemblance between that and the Exorcist is pretty good. I honestly expect to see more of them in chaos armies than in Sisters of battle armies.
That's true, the Warp Amplifier was modelled just like this. I wonder what that organ is doing on a rhino anywayz  .

But what of the midgets!?

I've already got one, you see!
Really, I built one a long time ago (even before I started painting my sisters) using the Whirlwind missles. Hasn't everyone done this?
The organ thing doesn't do it for me. I was hopeing that they'd go for a katushka-type thing, but no.
As I have already stated I do not like the Organ on wheels so made my own model based off the hyperioso missle packs, But for someone that doesn't play they can paint one of those up for looks.
Personally, i prefer the forgeworld exorcist, and as the forgeworld one is actually cheaper (!!! i will probably go for it,
I live in your eyes
I did not say I disliked the new exorcist kit. Actually I kind of like it. THe Idea for an organ on wheels sounds lame, but the model is impressive to look at. I still think im going to convert my own exorsist in the fassion of the forge world variant, and I may even get a forge world kit. Since they are just a Rhino that has been tooled up in the Sisters of battle garage, it makes sense to have a couple of them that look nothing alike. Gives them lots of character.
THis small order of battle sisters were given one exorcist on their creation. The exorcist is recorded in battles on terra both in the horus heresy and during the age of apostacy. It was a special gift to the Canoness, who had defeated 100 orks with faith alone.
After seeing the performance of their first exorcist, the Canoness felt that another would be usefull on the world of Aphmos. Not near their normal cathedral of operations, they had to make due, and built the exorcist from the missile arms of dreadnaughts they salvaged from a previous battle and a spare Rhino who's entire squad had been wiped out.
Loads of room for conversion, the kit is still cool because it gives you a bucket load of bits to work with.
I actually like this model but I can see it being used in Slaanesh armies more. While the old slaanesh model just had the organ, i love the way the exorcist has the sister playing the thing on the outside.

The servant on the rocket pod is also a nice touch. The only problem is how to field a GW and a FW exorcist together in the same army though...
why is that a problem? Read my previous post again, I spent almost the entire thread (and made a whole stroy ) talking about how that would actually be a desirable thing.
