So you mean to take the primary systems first then move to the lesser ones, very straight forward, very simple, I like.

The following is a post from Bolter andChainsword.
http://bolterandchainsword.ibforums.com/ It outlines a coordinated effort
on the part of Imperial forces for this most recent effort to purge the gallaxy of
    heretics:

Here is a copy of Blood Angel Brother Edward's percentage plan for the EOT
campaign. A large number of BA's and other Imperial army commanders, have committed to supporting this plan.

    ******
    Greetings my fellow Imperial Commanders!

Many have found merit with the "percentage system" for organizing the defense of
our systems, but many have also found the system lacking because it seems
"reactionary", and to a degree I agree with this criticism - so let's fix it.

What do you say about coming up with a set of "desired percentages" for each system
to guide our advances, and we also retain a set of "defensive percentages" for each
system which trigger automatic reinforcement of that system if the numbers fall too
    low.

Under this arrangement I could look at the campaign map and at a glance I could see
if all our systems defenses are holding - and THEN I can look at the "desired
percentages" and decide which advance most needs my help!

Each system would have a "desired" and a "minimum" percentage value - once these
values are decided every commander could work independently throughout the
campaign and it would still have a coordinated effect as a whole.

The "desired values" below are just suggestions, please offer ideas if you feel they
should be changed and please explain why so we can follow your reasoning

Here are the most recently proposed values for the systems (June 12, 10:30am CST)

System name -- current % --- desired % ---- reinforce at or below

Agrapinaa - currently 67% -- desired 90% -- reinforce if at or below 85% (PRIORITY
    SYSTEM - munitions/supplies)

Scarus - currently 77.0% -- desired 90% --- reinforce if at or below 85% (PRIORITY
    SYSTEM - Agg worlds)

Belis Corona - currently 83.0% -- desired 90% --- reinforce if at or below 85%
    (PRIORITY SYSTEM - shipyards)

Cadian - currently 88.0% -- desired 90%-- reinforce if at or below 85% (PRIORITY
    SYSTEM - critical location)

Medusa - currently 85.0% -- desired 90% -- reinforce if at or below 85% (Iron
    Hands homesystem)

    Chinchare - currently 45.0% --- desired 65% --- reinforce if under 50%

Caliban - currently 50.0% --desired 85% -- reinforce if under 60% (Dark Angels
    homesystem)

    Scelus - currently 20.0% -- desired 50% -- reinforce when under 30%.

    Sentinel - currently 20.0% -- desired 50% -- reinforce when under 30%.

    Belial IV - currently 35.0% -- desired 70% --- reinforce if under 50%

Nemesis - currently 99.5% -- desired 95% -- reinforce if at or below 85% (Inquisition
    Headquarters)

    Eidolon - currently 05.0% --- desired 20% -- reinforce when under 15%.

    +++++++++

    Further Suggestions:

*** Don't let ANY system fall completely! Remember we will be penalized if ANY
    system falls completely!

*** Defending planets within a system: When placing bat reps on a specific planet
within a system be sure to place priority to planets with inherent values (hive worlds,
    Agg worlds, Forgeworlds, Shipyards, etc)

*** Where to allocate losses: We'll need to add our own losses in the regions least
important to us - these should not be the important systems (Agrapinaa, Scarus,
Belis Corona, Cadian), and they should not be in systems about to fall, but rather
systems somewhere in the 25%+ to 50% bracket. This allows our most important
systems to have the most benefit of our coordinated effort, and still denies the enemy
    total victory in any system.

    ++++++++++

I offer these concepts for discussion in the hopes of preserving the Imperium, and all
    the "Forces of Good"!

another plan read what other people are going to do and do everything you can to screw their plans up
    Veni Vidi Variant

Do not worry about what futile efforts that chaos shall put forth. We will overcome anything they with to throw at us. Fate will guide us to victory. As long as we push forward we shall be able to cut down the vile scum.

    heres more

While the majority of us have been trying to work out effective command and leadership sections (a noble goal, I might add), I have personally been researching and investigating the optimum tactical deployment of our Imperial forces.

The role of this document is not to take away the freedom individual commanders have of determining when and where to fight but simply to sort out all the enthusiasm we have and help direct it in a meaningful and powerful manner. If we follow what is detailed below then we cannot help but prevail - there may be more effective plans, Commanders are welcome to suggest them, but until a better one comes up I strongly recommend we follow this one.

Currently we have representatives from almost every Space Marine Legion's successors, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, and even some Elder allies stand ready. It is good to see so many will stand together; surely we cannot fall if we fight as one.

For this reason I have grouped our forces into the following Army Composition:

All Imperial Guard, except Catachan forces: Imperial Guard
    Catachan Guard: Catachan
All Sisters of Battle, Demon Hunters, unmentioned: Specials
Biel-Tan and Saim-Hann Elder: Solstice Elder
Iyanden and Aloitoc Elder: Equinox Elder
    Ulthwe Elder: Ulthwe Elder
Dark Angel Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Dark Angels
White Scars Space Marines and Successor Chapters: White Scars
Space Wolves Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Space Wolves
Imperial Fists Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Imperial Fists
Blood Angels Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Blood Angels
Iron Hands Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Iron Hands
Ultramarines Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Ultramarines
Salamanders Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Salamanders
Raven Guard Space Marines and Successor Chapters: Raven Guard

This gives us a total of fifteen forces with which to divide over the twelve sectors.

Following is the sector and army assignment of all the allies we have available. Some sectors cannot be fought in at this time due to webway restrictions or rank requirements - all sectors will have a 'Primary' army (or armies) and a 'Secondary' army (or armies). If you cannot fight in your Primary sector, then enter your results in the Secondary sector instead. I have stationed some armies with secondary sectors even when there primary sector is available, in case that sector becomes unavailable at a later date (or becomes 100% Imperial). In addition, one Chapter of Space Marines (the Dark Angels) will have their forces split to cover the entire region - this, coupled with the two armies per sector plan, will ensure that absolutely no sector of space is left to Chaos.

I have allocated the Elder forces exclusively to the Webway sector so that they can divert all their forces to the defence of Ulthwe and the extermination of the Dark Elder. While I would ask that the Elder aid us in the fight, I understand that the Elder situation is very precarious and they probably do not have the resources to spare. That said - any outside assistance will be appreciated, and remembered.

    Belis Corona Sector
    Primary Army: Ultramarines
    Secondary Army: Salamanders, Raven Guard
    Notes:

    Medusa Sector
    Primary Army: Catachan, Ravenguard
    Secondary Army: Specials
    Notes:
This sector cannot yet be fought in.

    Scarus Sector
    Primary Army: White Scars
    Secondary Army: Blood Angels
    Notes:

    Scelus Sector
    Primary Army: Space Wolves
    Secondary Army: Iron Hands
    Notes:
This sector cannot yet be fought in.

    Sentinel Sector
    Primary Army: Ulthwe Elder
    Secondary Army: Solstice
    Notes:
This is a webway sector only.

    Chinchare Sector
    Primary Army: Imperial Fists
    Secondary Army: White Scars
    Notes:
This sector cannot yet be fought in.

    Belial IV Sector
    Primary Army: Solstice Elder
    Secondary Army: Equinox Elder
    Notes:
This is a webway sector only.

    Cadian Sector
    Primary Army: Imperial Guard
    Secondary Army: Imperial Fists, Ultramarines
    Notes:

    Nemisis Sector
    Primary Army: Specials, Salamanders
    Secondary Army: Space Wolves
    Notes:

    Eidolon Sector
    Primary Army: Equinox Elder
    Secondary Army: Ulthwe Elder
    Notes:
This is a webway sector only. There is an unknown sector here - possibly Commoragh?

    Caliban Sector
    Primary Army: Blood Angels
    Secondary Army: Imperial Guard
    Notes:
This sector cannot yet be fought in.

    Agripinaa Sector
    Primary Army: Iron Hands
    Secondary Army: Catachan
    Notes:

To clarify: When you report a VICTORY, look up your primary combat area. If that battle is available, or not already at 100% Imperial, place your result here. Otherwise - place it in your secondary area. If neither is possible, then place your victory in whatever sector is at the lowest point.
Losses: Record your losses in any sector or area that has the highest Imperial result. DO NOT put your defeat in a sector already under 100% Imperial control. Once we have locked out Chaos we do not want to let them slip in again.

If we follow this simple pattern then we will ensure that all Imperial Victories count directly towards a result, while all Imperial Defeats have a negligible impact on the overall campaign.

I will be constantly monitoring the campaign status. If some sectors are doing poorly, I will have to shift some forces from other areas (notably the sectors with more than two armies) to help bolster that area. I also have left the Dark Angels noteably absent from the above force deployment above. This is because I myself am a Dark Angel, and by leaving the Dark Angels out this will show that no biasness or favortism was used on the allocation of forces. The Dark Angel forces also seem to be the largest in number at this time. It is likely the Dark Angels will split their individual commanders over several key areas - you could call us a Reserve force. If allied Commanders feel this is inappropriate or incorrect, please inform me and if enough say so, I will add the Dark Angels to the Force Deployment Roster above.

I leave it up to the individual Force Commanders to tell the forces under your control which planet they will fight for.

My brothers and sisters in arms, I will see you on the frontlines.

Sithjack, your tactics seem to be quite sound. Is there a way we can organise the timing of when we put our battle reports in, for the more important sectors, in order to make more of an impact on the overall result?

im sure we could organize and time our results to immediately boost the success of one sector, but we dont want to put all our efforts into one sector and lose others at the same time
