Okay, I was just browsing the dh tactics sticky and saw the "double psyche strike" tactic of giving a couple of inquisitors PCs and deepstriking them. Now, call me an oblivious dolt if you want but where in the codex does it say inquisitors can deepstrike?
They can't to my knowledge.
Giving a Inquisitor Terminator armour does NOT make him a terminator. Even if he was, and he could deep strike if you gave him henchmen, who can't you wouldn't be able to (e.g. Like adding a non-fleet of foot independant character to a unit with fleet of foot the entire unit cannot then fleet)
No it doesn’t make him a terminator, but the terminator entry profile states any model wearing terminator armour may deep strike (which in answer to the question, yes). On top of that terminator honors come from experience of the user which denies inquisitors the terminators ability of +1 to their attack.
So, since you can do it with Elite, Termie armored =][=, do you think that it would be a viable tactics? I must find this idea quite new and intriguing, but I have no concept yet of what could be done with such unit, having in mind that in 5ED he will be a fair game for shooting at...
Well from what i remember reading from the tactica, add a Pyscannon and Deepstrike behind enemy lines or flank with storm troopers then use a teleport homer?
I would say the infiltrating Eversor is going to shine in 5th coming on at a table edge is going to wreck havoc!
Edit: Flank to destroy enemy armor i.e. Rear armor

Personally, I'm liking the idea of arming one with an incinerator and sticking them in some sort of transport, now that template weapons are more powerful.
Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.
If you're intruiged by doctors who are also ninjas, then this is the webcomic for you!
I read it again, and indeed they can.
Seems like an waste, though, with how expensive he is. Especially with how hard tanks are to kill in the new edition. He will only get to hits out of those 3 shots and then he needs a 5 or 6 to pen, than another 5 or 6 to destroy the vehicle. With only a 22% chance to destroy a vehicle I might not want to bank on him getting the job done.
