Get it now!
Some of it is good, very good! We get Power of the Machine Spirit ... finally! We also get clarifications on Assassins. Minor, but appreciated.
Oddly -- and bewilderingly -- no changes to Assault Cannon stats nor clarifications on daemons and GK special rules as they relate to daemons. For example, there is no Sustained Attack USR anymore, so even if we agree what counts as daemons ... what happens? Honestly, I'm inclined to say that pretty much nothing happens anymore, and that the only GK special rule with any effect whatsoever is the very last sentence of Rites of Exorcism (difficult terrain tests for charging Daemons). Of course, one must agree as to what counts as a daemon! But that shouldn't be too difficult, I would hope. Still, help would have been nice.
Six of one, half-dozen of the other.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

Btw it never said machine spirit is bs 2 therefore who cares the fact the assault cannon doesn't have rending, we can both fire at different targets, shoot when crew stunned.
It makes it sooo much better for a normal LR variant, bang oh yeah different targets (two tanks blown up) but yh I'm taking full advantage of that! Its nice they've done the assassins but honestly I don't care, they're nowhere near as good as before!
Btw i'm inclined to use my Vindicare - as a tank hunter if only snipers weapons didnt get -1 to damage result, 3d6 + rending on 6's could of done some serious damage!
But then again, who doesn't want to shoot into combat at that nob with a claw!
I might write like a ork but i fight like a poet.
Some one tell me they have ever seen a nightbringer die from a Nemesis Force Weapon.
Definitely some good stuff in there. I'm particularly stoked on the Null Rod, and Jump Back clarifications, if only because I can say "I told you so!" =P. Some other nice ones were the "Inquisitor and Assassin from different codices" (which I think we can safely extend to Temple Assassins and Daemonhosts), and the "psycannons don't ignore cover saves". Interestingly, they changed how Daemonhosts work when Deep Striking: they no longer get a power on the turn the DS. I'm surprised they didn't talk about wargear, myself. They update the rules on only Land Raiders? What about Teleport homers, assault cannons, etc? Ah well, you can't have everything I suppose =).

If you're intruiged by doctors who are also ninjas, then this is the webcomic for you!
As I expected they left out like half of the stuff that needed to be dealt with, I dont know what team of people GW has doing rules and what not but to be honest they kinda suck for the most part. I mean they didnt even update the assault cannon which they could of done for the BGB as it has all the weapon pages in it and it would of taken them like 5 secs to do.
I think it is sad that me and my friends made a full system and an update to all the codexs so we could use them in it, in under 2 weeks even with full playtesting. If the update to Codex inquisition is as bad as the faq I will most likely stop playing GW games all together.

Hmm, I don't see why you all are so exceted about. I mean, okey, our PotMS is way cooler now then those of the normal marines (BS 4, 2 possible tanks go boom XD NICE!), but that it. Nothing on the "ripper gun" (as I call the assault cannon), nothing about deamons or chaos what-so-ever, nothing about deamon powers and The Aegis (say, that power The Masque has).
Although I'm glad the Holocaust power from the terminators can only kill 1 terminator on a brain fry throw, and not the whole squad (what I thought it was at first ), but I don't think the FAQ has that many answers I'd like to hear
Tyranids Win / Draw /Lost
Daemon Hunters Win / Draw / Lost
Maybe this is due to the fact that they really are creating an Inquisition Codex and will be re-vamping a lot of our wargear and anti-Chaos/Daemon stuff, and therefore they didn't see any reason to update us in the mean-time between now and 2020 when they release it...
Seriously though, at least they did answer a few questions that I had. I also got some cool insight into some of the other rules.
I think that the fact that the Vindicare can snipe a unit in combat is pretty cool!
I agree though, it does seem a little ridiculous that they would only do a "half" update for us. However, maybe their focus was just to update rules that had conflicts with 5th edition changes, not necessarily other changes (the title was "Daemonhunter FAQ 5th Edition" after all).
Fantasy: Daemons (Angels), 40k: Black Templars
i hope you realize that GW still neglected to errata the assault cannon in the daemonhunters army. instead of the heavy 4 rending version, you still have the crappy heavy 3 no rending. Atleast they got the machine spirit and the assault vehicle issues this time...
What does the Inquisition have old stock that they have to use before ordering the new models from the forge world down the lane?
