Has anyone heard about the new exorcist model. They advertised $50 for the model and now they are going to honor it however. The model is a plastic rhino chasi with metal siding but thats not the killer. The killer is the entire organ on top is a hunk of pewter plus the arm loading the amunition. As such GW is actualy only going to make $0.50 off the model or less. The real price they would have used is more around $75 so feel good sisters that you will be able to buy your wonder tanks for only $50
which type of money u talking about?!
are u talking us dollars
or canadian dollars
or british pounds
or any other currency...
GREY KNIGHTS RULE!
I feal good about the Exorcist. Your only going to have a fiew in your army to begin with, so the cost isn't too outragious
lol US currency and you can only have 3 in an army but the point was that they arnt making any money off of it and that it would have been around $75. This is a big diffrence between $150 plus tax for 3 and $225 for 3
This is why it will be limited edition.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
You really think it cost them that much for the pewter? This is GW we are talking about here I am sure their making more than $0.50 a unit. They probably make around $20-30 and more from online sales.
And the thing is an ugly model anyway.
Booo exorcist model
The organ on top is basicly a giant block of pewter and it has pewter sidings plus there are diffent costs for molds so in the end they dont make out to well on it. You can always get forge worlds model for a rediculouse price or just use a whirwind.
US price is said to be $40 as advertised and a very low print run, as at gamesday they explained they would lose money in the long run. The best thing they could do is maybe sell the pewter bit piece as a seperate item.
MY GOD! what was GW smoking when they made up that price 75 is a rip! id settle for 55 at least.
Supporter in the Eternal War Against.......Nothing!
What they are potentially losing for this model (though I doubt they are losing anything, this is GW we are talking about) they are still making it back by overpricing every one of their other products.
