Well, firstly, they came up with daemonettes and slaanesh greater daemons with mammary glands and thongs and *****, then they had fantasy stuff with thongs, and now, they have sister repentia!!! half - naked!!!! and lead by a mistress!!!!slightly too s and m, dont you think? i think GW is going a bit too sex oriented, dont you?
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."
Yes I think they are getting a bit too dirty.
In the GT rulebook it says you should make your army with the thought that you will be facing an old man, a woman and a small child, or something along those lines. Personally I like the deamonett models allot (except the fact the mounted daemons are one solid peace), but I wouldn’t want to show the models to my parents or my 4 y/o niece.
I don’t think its any cause to raise a stink over though, as we all still have are own free will to not field the models or convert them with a few shreds of green stuff.
i think this is an old GW model it's called the red hunter/tigress or something...look at that model and then you get the point.
And here I was hoping L-O wouldn't get the same stupid debates as GW forums...
Look around outside. Watch some tv. What do you see? Nudity, everywhere. A couple of 1" tall metal miniatures with still plenty of clothing coverage aren't exactly a shocking sight.

But what of the midgets!?

I love it!! I think it's a great idea with the sisters. The half nakedness fits in well with the fluff, as the sister repentia are stripped away from all that was true to them and bide's by the idea of humiliation. what do you expect them to do. They are supposed to be punished.
But no I don't think GW are going perverse. they could go far worse if they wanted.
Different parts of the world have vastly different views on what is considered too "adult".
I like them, who hasn’t spend a little too long reading the sleneshi battle reports.
How come all the sisters of battle are the same? They all have the same body and same boobies? There are a few exceptions but it makes me wonder if there is some sort of genetic manipulation going on there.
I rather think that it's just the power armour that is standardized. The adeptus mechanicus probably doesn't produce SoB power armour with different chest plates depending on cup size. They will rather do some surgery than to create an entirely new assembly line for like 75DD power armour.
That, and I can imagine that 1) 75 would be like torpodeos, literally, and 2) those suckers would DEFINETLY get in the way. The enemy wouldn't have to fire, b/c they'd just topple over . Either that, or the SoB with that size chest would just bowl over whole lines of the enemy . *smoosh* what a way to go!75DD power armour.
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."
well, judging by the way the plates fit together in the sisters of battle power armor, it almost looks adjustable. I don't know if they adjust to a 75DD. I also don't see why they wouldn't have multiple sizes. Surgery is a pretty extreme way of avoiding the manufacure of a different size chest peice. Besides, I don't think they ever mention who builds sisters power armor. For all we know, each sister could be instructed on how to build a suit, and they build their own.
Every suit of Power Armor must be constructed at least roughly to a person's dimensions (not necessarily in the chest, but most sections) for simple mechanical reasons. If the limbs are incorrect lengths, they snap your bones when they move (because they will bend at a different spot than your arms), or they have to leave the difference unprotected. Leaving the difference unprotected only works if the person is too long/tall/big. If she (or he) is too short, it is not an option.
Now, there is probably some "wiggle room". You could just put out basic sizes, but that would be a minimum, and for the best protection you would want exact dimensions. Besides, Power Armor is hand made, so why not make it to custom dimensions?
If they did use surgery, it would be just to remove the things, as honestly they just get in the way and make a lot of things more difficult mechanically. It would certainly appear that they do not remove them, so...
As for the game being too "adult", I will leave everyone to their own tastes, as that is what it does come down to. However, in terms of being inappropriate for young children, I think the extremely dark and sometimes horrific nature of the fluff (skulls as far as they eye can see, hooks being placed in a man's flesh with weights attached before he is dragged through the streets, etcetera) are far more inappropriate for young children than a little bit of pewter painted like skin. The game itself is simply rather inappropriate for young children.
"Don't Delay-The best is the enemy of the good. By this I mean that a good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan next week. War is a very simple thing, and the determining characteristics are self-confidence, speed, and audacity. None of these things can ever be perfect, but they can be good."
