Sp I went and got a space wolf codex and some Blood Claws and Space wolf grey.
I Based the blood claws white and painte over in space wolf grey... and it doesn't look like the troops in the book. Not in terms of details but more of the armor base.
It looks diffrent than mine. How do thoose pros paint them?
They seem to use codex gray with space wolf gray highlighting I believe. What they actually recommend is not what they used. I used the darker colored shadow gray for my troops and then highlighted with space wolf gray.
What did you base them in. White or Black?
You should base them with black
I had this long signature made up, but I didnt like it...
Could someone post some of there space wolves... also i'm still alittle bit cofused on how black and shawdow grey make a light grey.
I do the fallowing
Base coat: Shadow Grey
Highlight 1: 50/50 Shadow Grey/ Space Wolves grey
Highlight 2: Space Wolves grey
And the shoulder pads,
Base coat: center, fiery orange. outer, shadow grey
Highlight 1: center, golden yellow. outer, 50/50 Shadow Grey/ Space Wolves grey
Highlight 2: center Bad moon yellow or sunburst yellow. outer Space Wolves grey
I also black line between prime coat and basecoat.
If Wolves were meant to fly, wouldn’t the Emperor have given them wings?
I agree to all you but isn't this in the wrong forum? isn't their a paint forum? if their isn't then thats retarded.
[QUOTE] "For eleven hundred years I have fought and I have seen the darkness in our galaxy. I have seen the vileness of the alien. I have seen the heresy of the mutant. I have witnessed the sin of Possession. I have seen all the evil that the galaxy harbours and I have slain all whose presence defiles the Emperor. I have seen what you have seen i Have fought what you must fight and i have slain what you must slay.
You are armored by the Emperor himself.
