Just wondering, as this type of army lacks alot of the diversity that really helps out DH lists, would a Grey Knight army be able to pull wins out?
In the past it would look something like a 2 x 10 PAGK squads, BC with Psycannon, at least two Hellfire Dreads and then build more FAGK squads on that as points allow. Basically all unit walk and shoot.
With 5ed, I am thinking that a two LR (one LRC and one regular) could be a real option, but the main strength of pur GK list is the 10 man squads of PAGKs.

Well the one thing I have a real question about is does this list have any one sure-fire way of popping heavy armor? I mean they seem to lack high S stuff needed to do that.
Also, if you really need to, you could try assaulting vehicles with nemesis weapons and melta bombs. The rule about hitting tanks' rear armor really helps out with this.

LRC works great by the way.
And i would have to agree Nemesis Weapons are great against vehicles, never the less i wouldn't assault a vehicle unless it was dangerous and all other means failed. I.e. All my other anti tank.
I might write like a ork but i fight like a poet.
Some one tell me they have ever seen a nightbringer die from a Nemesis Force Weapon.
In small games, Hellfire Dreads are the way to go, but as long as its 1500+ points I'd really consider Land Raiders (I used to use two under that, but the reliance on troops choices makes it very fragile). Once you have Anti-Armour and Troops sorted you're pretty much done, but then again with troops like these who needs elites?
Lists like this is what I win with most of the time (and others have had success with). It's not easy to win with, but it's not impossible.

This thread amused me somewhat as I just took best overall with my pure GK list yesterday. In general I've found 5th ed makes the list more viable. I'll be posting my list and some thoughts on it in the army list section is a few.

I think a two Land raider list with two fulll PAGK squads, and two mini purger squads with a Brother captain can be a scary army to face. It comes in right around 1500 points has 4 TLLC shots at different targets per turn, has fast and durable troops to take objectives (PAGKs in transports), and two anti horde shooting units that can sit back out of range fire volleys of psycannon fire. It is pretty balanced in that you have speed, shooting, assaulting, and armor. Unfortunately some people are going to think two Land Raiders is Power gaming, but if you want a competitive Pure GK list I think it is the way to go.
Wow this is perfect timing. Somone at the shop near me is selling two LR for 35 each. Jackpot!
