5th edition.. time for revision...
quick jot of the mech army for the further question:
2 flamer sisters squads
1 melta sisters squad
6 seras; eviscerator; flamers
1 flying canonnes with eviscerator
1 flying canonnes with sword
1 nude inquisitor - badass way of fighting heretics!
1 callidus assassin
i have about 250ish points left.
since the game looks a bit more tilted in the favour of melee and troops having such huge importance now, I am thinking to swap the usual second squad of melta sisters to perhaps
A. 8 black templar marines with nude inquisitor actually getting some weapons and helping them out and a emperror's champion riding shotgun with them. OR
B. PAGK in a rhino with melee inquisitor. OR
C. Zealots with a priest!!! - didnt remember them right off the bat, but converted flagellants look really nice on the shelf.
The wish to get inquisitor into combat and in a group is because of kill points, and I cant join him up with sisters cus he is not faithful (talking about holy inquisition... kinda weak). Even though inquisitor isnt that big of a guy to support knights in CC its better to let him do something useful for a change maybe with inquisitorial mandate.
second question as i have never allied with marines before:
can inquisition ally with a chapter marines or you can only use vanilla?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Glory to the Emperror!

Read your book, your can't ally with space marines at all if you want to have sisters of battle or grey knights.
You have some pretty good anti tank/terminator with 3 exorcists already, so I am not sure if the melta sisters are needed. I wouldn't run 2 HQs in one squad. One good option that you haven't considered is just plain GKs with no rhino. I know you want your list to be mechanized, but 2 of the 3 missions are capture missions. Those foot-slogging Gks will be great for holding a close objective (shrouding) while your rhino sisters zoom around the board.
As to GKs, I always thought that they seemed like a good idea, but the most prolific WH players don't seem to use them unless very large games.
The strongest WH players that I've observed use redundant squads of textbook Adepta Sorritas. The only non-Adepta are the occasional Inquisitor with 3 HB shooty retinue, and or a 2x plasma/melta IST squad of 5 or 6.
