I will be starting a cityfight campaign in the near future, using witchhunters (mainly So. However I am interested in taking a pure force without the assisstance of heretical pentient engines or arco-flaggellants. I will be up against World Eaters with Mutants and Traitors from the back of Codex-WH. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Grey Knights in Cityfight, or for that matter assaulting Khorne Bezerkers
Well, take a Grand Master or Brother Captain, give him a retinue, and give the hero Sacred Incense & Word of the Emperor. With luck, that'll prevent the KB's from assaulting you (strips them of a lot of extra attacks!, and the incense will lower their Initiative.
If you take SoB set up for ranged (I'd think they'd rock at cityfight, what with their short range, S^/APv weapons! and a unit or two of Grey Knights (GM & retinue, power armor GK with an incinerator) set up for assaulting, you should do good.
Cheers I agree with using GK as assault troops and Sisters as fire support ( Rapid firing massed Bolters on the Move? I love the new rules! ). However I may send some Repentia charging down the board, stir things up (or probably die, But same my GK and Seraphim from being shot at)
A Character would be pretty solid (Death to the Daemon Prince!.
Can his Retinue be Termies, Love the models
All GK heroes are in Termie armor, and their bodyguards HAVE to be Termies as well.
Cool, can they also take CRUSADER pattern Land Raiders? (they would kick ass in cityfight)
Nope, if DH are taken as allies, no heavy support choices. Only way to get a LRC into your army then would be making DH the base force.
