    Should I buy a hellhound

Im starting a new theme guard army(the one in the list the regiment thread) iv got one battle force and a command sorted plus a platoon command and im wodering about what i should buy a hellhound or a unit of 10 stormies to be split into 2 units of 5 or a hellhound?

If Slaanesh is the god of the Perverse, why does Nurgle have all the filth?

Both. Hellhounds are wonderful, stormtroopers are effective. Get both.

No. You should buy a Chimera and make it a hellhound.

Good idea. Actually, thats yet another Chimera conversion I wanna do. There's so much potential on the IG tank chassis!

Go for the hellhound, you currently have no vehicles, and if you do it right, you will have a vehicle you can easially change between a hellhound or a chimera, with just magnets, you end up with both a hellhound, and a chimera, just a turret swap, and remove the fuel tanks, to swap.

    Good Luck!!!

I would recommend getting a hellhound first since it's pretty much the most potent anti-horde weapon the IG has at it's disposal. So if your first opponents happen to be tyranids, Orks or even another IG, then you'll be able to lay down some major hurt against there numbers. It also does wonders against most Eldar aspect warriors and basic fire warriors can't do squat against it's front and side armour.

Of course, stormtroopers are also great

Heh, that was fun. Earlier, a guy I was playing didn't realize how powerful an inferno cannon was. He had a destroyer lord with 10 scarabs, all turbo boosting straight at my lines for 2+ cover on the scarabs. I hit them with the inferno cannon. All 10 scarabs were instant-killed and the lord had to take a save.
