I can see the GK's using the landspeeders as a way to "check in" with various squads fighting on different parts of the battlefield. Is there any fluff that would be against me using them? (with my opponent's permission, of course...) Tactically, I think landspeeders would greatly help the GK's anti-tank capabilities. 3 of them with a multimelta would do them a world of good.
I think if you add a significant change to your army even with your opponents permission you should lose something, or the oppoenet can add something as well. Landspeeders would be fun, I have a tornado in my SM organization, but I think that's why GKs can always deep strike, our fast attack. If you take speeders I would say no auto deep strike unless mission allows. As for fluff, you don't need any in my opinion. If the Ordo thinks speeders would help get the job done then they do it. I think converting you own unique speeder would be fun, instead of HBs, use psycannons, or incins, then the main melta weapon.
