welcome to the forum! as far as your questions go, you are not able to mix dark angels and space wolves. but you can field scout snipers.

If you buy and read the Dark Angels codex, as well as the 5th edition rulebook, that should help you understand what you can and can't take.

Hey, there - welcome to 40K, Marines, and LO!

The answer to your question depends a lot on how you mean "together".

If you mean mixing and matching units from both codexes to make up one army, that's a big no unless you're playing Apocalypse (where the only rules are 1. Have fun, and 2. Don't be a jerk).

If you're planning on using the Dark Angels rules and simply painting the odd unit or two in Space Wolves colours, that's alright (they're your models, paint them however you like!), but frowned upon from a storyline point of view because the Wolves and the Angels really don't like each other.

And finally, if you're talking about doing a really big battle with multiple armies (say, 2 forces of 2000 points working together in a 4000 point game), and having the Wolves and Dark Angels working together as allies, that's cool, too - they may not like each other much, but they're still on the same side!

As for scouts and sniper scouts, I don't really know the DA codex, but I'm almost positive that they can take scouts (with or without sniper rifles) in just the same way as any other Marine army. IIRC the only army that doesn't is the Black Templars, but they're drastically different from all other Marine armies.

    Hope that helps!

    DA scouts are currently elite.
