How many Guard armies do you own or how many lists do you run?
Personally I have my friendly army that I intend to increase to about 3,000pts and I am hoping to start working on a tournament army in the near future.
I have about 4,000 points of guard give or take a few hundred. I don't have a set number of lists because I like to change it up every time. I guess you could call it one army because 99% of my models are Cadian.
Just the one ever increasing force for me. I don't really have any lists as such, as I make one before a game depending on what im coming up against...
I'll admit my goal is to eventually build my 2000 point R'hyxn 76th regiment to full Orginization chart. As for the 75th and 77th regiments to be reserve company size. As for my Carabix 1st regiment, I plan on filling it to full chart status as well, though that'll take a good time.
I'll be damned before the soldiers of the Emperor are just left to rot!
Last words of Colonel Densit from the Rahaxin 19th
"DISS NOT THE EMPEROR'S POINTED STICK, HERETIC!"
If it doesn't work with the Emperor. Then it's been officially Karmooned!!!
BEWARE THE POWER OF THE LIGHT-BRIGHT!
I just finished my 1500 point list, wiped out the IG shelf at my local GW.
We who have seen war will never stop seeing it....In the silence of the night, we will always hear the screams....
I used to have about 2500 points of cadians/catachans, the cadians were the regulars and I used the catachans as raggedy conscripts... heh, I used to fight speed freeks a lot and combat was inevitable, so I used 2x50 conscripts with flamers and commissar... ah the good ole days.
Now I'm trying to make several smaller projects that can ally or fight each other depending on the situation. I have:
- 1000 pts of cadian PDF
- 1000 pts of tallarn redemptionists
- 1000 pts of Adeptus Arbites grenadiers... I actually use the witch hunters codex for them though, so I'm cheating by listing them here...
- and I have 1000 pts of marauder-catachan cultists in progress
But me and my tallarn haven't been on speaking terms for many months now, I'm mad at them for being metal models and difficult to convert. I'll probably sell them all soon.
Tyranids: 2500 pts
Imperial Guard: 1000 pts
Witch Hunters: 1000 pts
I have no idea...
Probably somewhere around 1750 pts that are useable (if my opponent doesnt mind playing against an army that isnt fully painted) and about 2500 if I repair all my catachans, which have fallen into disrepair because they wont fit in my carrying case and I cant be hooped fixing them if they are going to fall apart anyway...
Model-wise a mix of Cadians, Old Cadians, Valhallans, Last Chancers and the aforementioned dismembered Catachans.
Oh, and most one of my Leman Russes has gone missing (I had two Leman Russes and one Exterminator), I have the left hand side track arrangement and the turret. Not sure why.
I am also short a Hellhound and a Basilisk, but I know why with those. They went as a direct result of me getting overenthusiastic when the VDR came out and not having many vehicle bits that were not already part of a vehicle.

I have about 4000-5000 Tanith, about 500 pts of steel legion and about 400 pts worth of stormtroopers/grenadiers about 100 conscripts that float around around my armies.
And that's just the infantry. I have 2 bane blades, a laser destroyer and 5 leman russ/variants and 9 sentinels and 2 sentinels and a salamander scout.
I have about 80 or so catachan models on sprue left to convert into tanith, I'm going to start another tanith army as the one I have is painted in green camo. The next one will be in urban camo
So I guess I have 4 armies including an armored company.
