Hey guys recently I started playing Dark angels , well he played a few games with me and now wants to play but chaos has miss guided him and as a member of the dark angels I must make him repent.
Heres what I have:
Black Reach Box Set
Space marine Chaplin
2 5 man squads ( Dark angels )
Assault Squad ( 5 man )
Heres what he has
Chaos marines battle force
And a HQ choice the name of witch escapes me I remembered the description of him .
Who ever kills him and takes a moment of trimuph will find them selfs turning into him.
Any tactics or advice ?
From the way it sounds you're brother has not only fallen to chaos. But has fallen into the lies and seduction of Slaanesh. So my recomendation is to build a decent force, possibly even a librarian or a Captain to take up that secondary slot to help with combat. Other than that some extra firepower wouldn't hurt.
I'll be damned before the soldiers of the Emperor are just left to rot!
Last words of Colonel Densit from the Rahaxin 19th
"DISS NOT THE EMPEROR'S POINTED STICK, HERETIC!"
If it doesn't work with the Emperor. Then it's been officially Karmooned!!!
BEWARE THE POWER OF THE LIGHT-BRIGHT!
You've got a good start for sure. Try and scrounge up some heavy weapons for your 10 other marines (if you can, pick up a Devastator box, it comes with like 8 heavy weapons!) to make a properly tricked out Tactical Squad. Also, a DA Veteran box is a nice way to get some Dark Angely bits and some power weapons for your Tactical Squads, it also has bits for your Terminators to make them extra Deathwingey.
For now, split your squads up and pour on the firepower. Once he closes in, use your Terminators, Chaplain, Master, and Assault Marines to finish him off. Use combat squads to put lots of small squads out to grab objectives and saturate him with targets and use the hammer of the Deathwing to deliver the killing blow.
Do your duty! Do not waver in your determination! Strike hard! Strike fast! Smite the heretic and remove him from the Emperor's sight!!
Take sternguard veterans with vengeance ammo (that name might be wrong). They are AP3 bolters used to take down traitor marines in the new SM Codex.
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
Trust ==Me==, if we could we most certainly would.
The Emperors wrath shall fall apon him thank you my brothers with this tactical advice , I shall be the victor.
"Repent! For tomorrow you die!"
i feel sorry for your brother considering the new csm codex and all
If Slaanesh is the god of the Perverse, why does Nurgle have all the filth?
Sounds like your bro has Lucius the eternal as his HQ, he is deadly in close combat and close quarters especially because of his doom siren but his high I make him a real handful. He isn't the one man killing machine that Abaddon or Kharn is so to deal with him just do a bit of focus fire on his unit. Alone he isn't difficult.
High AP weapons are your friend against the foul traitors of chaos; they're more suited to melee than your average marine army, so either you can go ravenwing on his arse and run him down (three or four skimmers with multi-meltas are the perfect harassment weapon) or kit out every squad you can with meltaguns, plasma guns, multi-meltas and plasma cannons - plasma cannons are perfect, methinks, as they not only have AP2 but hit more than one troop at a time. As 4theemperor pointed out, sternguards are a great choice, especially in a dedicated transport; drop them off within rapid fire range, and a single turn of firing with vengeance ammo with thin out their numbers quite nicely. Contrary to popular tactics, you should also disperse your fire between various enemy units before they charge you; you should walk away from most assaults with bloodied chainswords and loyal astartes still intact. Perhaps even throw in some vanguards or CC terminators to take point once the firing has done its work.
Good luck kicking his traitorous hide back into the warp
