making two armies to teach people how to play

Hello again. Like the title states I have enough models to start a small SM army. And I am going to have new people that I will have to teach how to play. so I need help designing an army list that is to have fun with for both players. I will list the DH models I have, the SM models are in the topic I started in the marine forums.

    18 gk
    4 incinerators
    1psycannon
    2 justicars
    5 GKT x2 psycannons
    1 INQ
    1 acolyte
    2 sages
    14 IST
    2 meltas
    2 plas
    2 vets
    1 Eversore
also I have 1 LR that will be going to the side that needs it or if it create too much of a problem neither will use it.

This list pretty much writes itself.

    HQ:
    Inq. Lord w/ retinue.
    Acolyte, 2x sages, 2 x vets.

    Elites:
    GKTermies w/ 2x psycannons.

    Eversor.

    Troops:
    9 x IST´s w/ plasma guns
    9 x IST´s w/ melta guns

    Justicar, 7 x PAGK´s, 1 x psycannon.
    Justicar, 6 x PAGK´s.

    Fast Attack:
    Justicar (normal PAGK model), 4 x PAGK´s, 2 x incinerators.
    Justicar (normal PAGK model), 4 x PAGK´s, 2 x incinerators.

You can shuffle around the troops and FA PAGK numbers, but everything else is where it should be.
    It's worth a krak!

Probably want to keep the Fast Attack guys as regular PAGKs, since that way they're scoring units. Other than that, looks like about the same list I'd make with those models.

after seeing this I really want to try that list because it looks like fun. Maybe not effective all the time but freaking hilarious to play. I will probably make the lord a normal Inq, Put the GKT as the HQ just to save points, but other than that I want to see somebodies face when I DS four incinerators. Has anyone done a tactica for using the new outflanking rule and deepstriking together?

    Yeah, I agree.
I put the fast attack there so he could teach his acolytes the workings of deep striking template weapons, which is different to say GKT deep striking.

They would do better as troops in any other situation though...ie a real game.

You know, that's actually a good point. The deep-striking template weapon squads do add a fun risk versus reward dynamic to the game, which would probably be a fun and instructive thing for new players.
