Hey. I just started playing WarFB and got sucked into War 40k cuz 95% of people play it and I wanted to start a Gk Army because, frankly, I've never seen one and they look badass. Playstyle seems to fit me as well, but wanted to know how they fare as most people say they are the worst army out by far etc, so wanted to get the facts. And mostly, where do I start if I want to begin an army of them?

here's the link.
They are a fun army to play, are probably not the most competitive, but they look cool and always have the "underdog" advantage.
Fantasy: Daemons (Angels), 40k: Black Templars
What do you mean by "worst army by far"? Them's fightin' words!
I do think it's fair to say that this is one of the most challenging armies to learn to play competitively. But that's part of its appeal, frankly.
There seems to be a sudden upsurge of interest in this force. Recent topics have opened up discussing exactly these issues:
Switching from Orks to Daemonhunters
Daemonhunters as much fun as they look?
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

I like gk's because I hated setting up all my guard army, with gk's I can set-up quickly allowing time to think about my enemys plans
I might write like a ork but i fight like a poet.
Some one tell me they have ever seen a nightbringer die from a Nemesis Force Weapon.
