Notes on Briskone IX
Briskone IX was a Industrial world, with a majority of its land covered in mines, foundries, and warehouses. The five continents got along peacefully, with one supplying the others in anything they were lacking.
The world was highly industrialised. The Adminstratum Offices being in the centre of the each city with a Major Imperial Guard base attached to each one.
And then it happens. The world was in 2 colliding warpaths. Splinter Fleet Bestia, and Ubernoger’s WAAGH. As the war raged on orphans, widows, all moved into a large monastery that was no longer used, The Order of Our Martyred Lady sent a small unit to help defend these people. Then the Imperial Guard started to change, beginning with small things, and escalating to attempting to raid the monastery. They had fallen to the pearls of Chaos.
The Order of the Holy Flame
The Sisters of the Holy Flame was founded by Sister Xiomara Flammula on Briskone IX during the conflict between the Traitor guard, Waargh, and the invasion of Bestia. She miraculous survived a fiery battle between the Traitor Guard, where the rest of detachment was wiped out. As she devised a way to recovered the planet, she formed a bond with many of the young women, who were all willing to die to defend the planet, and avenge those who were now lost to them. Xiomara started to train the women in the way of the Sisterhood, focusing that strong discipline that they had from their previous lives.
Soon, with assistance from an Inquisitor and other Adepta Sororita, her small order was officially recognised and was actively serving the Ordo Hereticus. But Unfortunately the war to win their home planet back was not going well, the were vastly out numbered, and even with the 3 factions fighting themselves, her new order could not get the land back.
At this stage the Inquisitor order the planet to be destroyed, and help the small order launch their monastery into space orbiting the doomed planet. When the bombardment started, it did not destroy the world, but instead filled the atmosphere with highly flammable gases.
Seeing this Sister Xiomara took a shuttle and flew it through the atmosphere, igniting the gas, turning the once thriving planet into a fire ball, destroying the Traitors and the aliens in one swoop. The blast from the planet catching alight blew the shuttle into space. There was an extensive search, but the shuttle wasn’t found.

Oh, and not that I've ever carried out an Exterminatus, so I don't really know how they work, but perhaps viral bombing may be a better idea? I think I recall reading something (I think it was a Chaos Marine fluff piece) where a planet is viral bombed, then the gasses in the atmosphere are ignited.
As much as the detonating the atmosphere then seems retundant due to the viral bombs, I believe Tyrannids are capable of surviving such a bombardment. Orks are possibly immune and you can claim the chaos guys have mutated enough that some of them survive, or something. So further clensing being required, the Sister does her thing with the shuttle...
Lastly (because I'm writing too much again!) I like the armour colours. Sounds like you'll have some good variation and yet have a still cohesive-looking army.
Thanks for that man ... It is a start .. as well as my first attempt of fluff ...
Once I work out how to take decent photos of my model .. I`ll post up examples.
Well with the Nids dislike of flamers, and the fact it destories all Biomas, I figured they would try and burn everything .. because fire is cleasing .. ...
I still it is cool image... and I will expand on it ... Because X isnt gone..
Hey man, cool fluff, i'm never a fan of varied color schemes across a single army, but it's your army! i'll be looking into a banner design on Wednesday.
...you stole my Order name!
Well, I'm still using it.
That decidedly sounds like the Inquisitor virus-bombed the world, and sister Xiomara then took advantage of it. The thing is, people can survive virus bombs in sufficient shelter, so flaming them afterwards is a good idea.

That should be "Imperatore", since "in" carries the ablative.
Also, "Order of the Holy Flame" is "Ordo Flammae Sanctae" in Latin. Just thought you'd want to know .
You can of course write your Latin however you want, but I'd at least prefer it if my army did it right. It was meant as help.
